Unified Events began as an effort to create large scale events in the Caribbean by shining a spotlight on the amount of waste created within smaller communities due to thousands of yearly visitors and local residents not being aware of excessive amounts of waste generated. Large qualities of single-use plastic items and Styrofoam products end up directly in our beautiful Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
Dinelle Henley, Foundress – a term coined by Videographer Cristian Rhymer, of Unity Entertainment is a lover of live music events. After spending many years living stateside working within the hospitality industry in Texas and New York, the opportunity to move back to the island of her mother’s birth presented itself. After working directly within the community as a waitress at Tony's Welcome Bar, the idea of creating true impact by leading a waste-conscious community began to formulate at the end of 2016.
What better way to gather the community then music events geared towards a zero waste lifestyle? All funds raised then go on to sponsor the building of a zero waste management facility to combat waste and maintain the sustainability of these smaller communities.
Join us as we expand globally by making the effort to be more waste conscious in your own community.
