As we head into a fresh spring season full of renewal and regrowth, Unified Events intends to work with the help of volunteers to replant many of the trees and vegetation loss after last years storms.
A dual effort to help many of the birds throughout the territory who were displaced from their homes after recent storms. Our mission to bring in 100+ trees, sourced within the Caribbean for replanting at a multitude of locations in the Virgin Islands.
Stay tuned for further details as we source volunteers to help with this wonderful opportunity.
Thankful to BirdsCaribbean for powering this uplifting program!!
Hello and happy 2018 to everyone!
Unified Events is currently in the process of submitting our application to become a NPO in the Virgin Islands. Exciting news for our team here!
Look out for further details as we launch our Water No Waste program this month!!
Joining forces with others as we unite to help all!
Due to circumstances beyond our control, the events scheduled for Nov 11th and 12th were cancelled. We are no longer able to access the donated clothing and shoes received from multiple organizations to distribute for hurricane relief due to government politics. Even after the cancellation, our organization supported the Family Support Network with a $100 donation to assist those in need.
Unfortunately, items are STILL sitting at the Festival Grounds here in Tortola, BVI, as pictured below. Throughout the community there are many with only a few clothing items and one pair of shoes, if any! The Virgin Islands Government arranged distribution process continues to fail us.
All who contacted us directly concerning upcoming events please stay tuned in December for further updates. We are currently sourcing partnerships to help those requiring clothing and shoes.
We are also hiring for those who are looking for work in the aftermath of Irma. Please reach out via email@example.com for further details.
Catch us again on Saturday and Sunday, November 1th and 12th giving out donated relief clothing and shoes at Farmers Village, across from the Flow building. 10AM to 3PM! Portion of funds raised will be donated to the local organization, Family Support Network!
Unified events will be hosting a clothing drive on Sunday, November 5th from 10am-7pm. We are asking for a $5 donation and a portion of the proceeds will go to the BVI Red Cross. This clothing drive is an effort to aid those in the community who have been affected by the recent natural disasters. Please come and take what you need. Items available will be clothing, shoes, and other relief items.
Unified Events has received a generous donation of 10 waste bins from Action Environmental in the NY/NJ area. Most thankful to their organization for supporting our clean up efforts here in the Eastern Caribbean.
Our focus now rests on securing shipping for these urgently needed waste bins to the territory. We have reached out to Waste Management, a US-based environmental management company, in an effort to secure a 20 ton dump truck to use for clean up efforts during the next six month period.
Stay tuned as we launch organized eco-friendly clean ups and clothing/shoe drives for the community members in the immediate area.
Our team at Unified Events sends blessings to all rebuilding after the multitude of natural disasters in the Caribbean/Latin America and worldwide.
We are stronger together and we will rebuild!

In certain cases, words are not necessary. Visuals of the UNICEF tents at Elmore Stoutt High School, damaged commerical trucks, and the main distribution center in RoadTown, Tortola.
Please support our efforts to rebuild our territory. Stay tuned as we partnership with multiple organizations to provide clothing and shoe drives throughout the effected Caribbean territories.
Launched at the beginning of 2017 our initiative intends to join community members, business owners and visitors of The Virgin Islands territory in an effort to reduce excessive waste polluting the natural habitat. Supporting each individual in an effort to stay aware of the amount of waste produced on a daily basis. Eventually establishing and successfully promoting the spread of a waste conscious lifestyle. As suggested by popular ‘90s superhero Captain Planet, “The Power is YOURS!”
Zero Waste is defined as a philosophy that encourages the redesign of resource life cycles allowing all products reuse. Similar to the way that resources are reused in nature, where there truly is no waste. With the exception of specific man-made products including single-use plastic items and Styrofoam products which take upwards to 500+ years to decompose, the opportunity to extend the lifecycle of
Implementing the following routines in preparation for the territory’s first zero waste management facility by 2027:
Reduction – Waste Prevention
Reducing all excessive waste and preventing unnecessary waste is as easy as it sounds. Do you have your own reusable cups or mugs that can be used to reduce single-use product waste? Do you have your own reusable bag to use while shopping? Don’t forget it! Stay present of all the convenient methods that single-use plastic/Styrofoam items show up in our daily lives and REFUSE them.
Recycling – Reuse
If you are able to arrange the setup of recycling pick up in your area, then go for it! Take the initiative where you are to make a change. Remember that all items may be recycled from clothing, shoes, books and bigger items including automobiles, boats and mechanical equipment. Reach out to community members and offer your own items to others who may be in need. Sharing is caring.
Limiting food waste and using organic waste items for compost at all costs. Local compost may then be used for community efforts and farmers alike. Extending the lifecycle and removing the need for organic waste and food waste to end up in landfills or incinerated.
