This weekend in celebration of Earth Day, Unified Events hosted the initial Beyond the Beach: Clean Up, a series of scheduled community clean ups to combat pollution in low lying areas where water run off collects.
Our starting team of four volunteers kicked off the clean up a little after 9AM within the park surrounding the Bandstand in Road Town. Many passing by offered helping hands as we moved down Main Street towards the battered 3-story Bargain Center building. Teams split off and were able to collect waste from the playground of Elmore Stoutt High School, as well as the ball field where large piles of hurricane debris sit waiting for removal. After breaking for lunch all ten volunteers finished off a little after 1PM with over 15-50g bags of waste collected.
Many thanks to all the Earth Angels that participated and for the wonderful lunch from ‘Bazz Natural Juices! As well as all the background helpers who stopped by to show their support and offered donations!
Please reach out for further details as we host our next Beyond the Beach: Clean Up on May 20th in TRELLIS BAY!

At Unified Events we hope for a world with more of these…
Look out for the official introduction to Meet PAT within a community near you!
Unified Events has received a generous donation of 10 waste bins from Action Environmental in the NY/NJ area. Most thankful to their organization for supporting our clean up efforts here in the Eastern Caribbean.
Our focus now rests on securing shipping for these urgently needed waste bins to the territory. We have reached out to Waste Management, a US-based environmental management company, in an effort to secure a 20 ton dump truck to use for clean up efforts during the next six month period.
Stay tuned as we launch organized eco-friendly clean ups and clothing/shoe drives for the community members in the immediate area.
Our team at Unified Events sends blessings to all rebuilding after the multitude of natural disasters in the Caribbean/Latin America and worldwide.
We are stronger together and we will rebuild!
