At 24, Rakeem, known in the Virgin Islands as the seedling source, shares that agriculture is a life long habit, “It’s what I know.” He provided a quick tour through his garden setup for us this week. Inspiring and appreciate, Rakeem’s ability to make something from nothing is easy to see. Seen above, using the plastic barrel that collects rain water for his seedling crop, the young gentleman shared that gardening isn’t as hard as many think.
